With Lesley and Pamela’s experience in psychology and body based practices, this retreat has a mix of yoga, exercise classes, meditation and well-being workshops to provide a holistic approach to self-care and wellbeing.
This weekend is all about having the opportunity to restore through good movement, self-care workshops and nourishing food. Everything is prepared for you, all you need to do is turn up!
The weekend will include:
4 yoga & meditation classes
2 workshops
1 workout
Retreat is £450 for the weekend including accomodating and all meals. £100 is required as a non refundable deposit to secure your place. Please note the price is in GBP and not Euros.
The retreat is at High Trenhouse which is found in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. We will be surrounded by gorgeous countryside and there will be plenty of opportunity to spend time outside, walking, reading or soaking up the fresh air.
The majority of rooms are single ensuite rooms which will provide you with all the comfort you will need over the weekend. There are limited double rooms and twin rooms - if you are interested please contact us

Double (non sharing) – £475
High Trenhouse will be providing us with nourishing food throughout the weekend. The food will be vegetarian and we can cater for dietary requirements (please contact us to discuss).

Breakfast on Sunday
Teas and coffee throughout the day.
Lesley Brown
Lesley is a Psychological Therapist and Personal Trainer who specialises in using exercise to enhance therapy. Lesley takes a person-centred approach to therapy focussing on getting to know each individual she works with. She creates an open and non-judgement space that allows people to build an understanding of the difficulties they are experiencing and to find ways to overcome them. She is particularly interested in shame, how this can impact on us and how compassion can help. Lesley combines therapy with walking, if you want to find out more, visit her website.
Lesley uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy within therapy, selecting the elements each individual needs. She is accredited by the BABCP and CIMSPA.
Outside of work Lesley enjoys running along the coast, spending time with friends and comedy.
Pamela O'Hara
Pamela is a Psychological Therapist and Yoga Teacher who specialises in using yoga to enhance therapy. Pamela, also, focusses on taking time to get to know each person she works with to get a good understanding of what is driving the problems they are experiencing. She then helps people to find ways to create change within these problems so they can pursue their goals. She is particularly interested in trauma, self-criticism, helping with low self-worth and how yoga can help make therapy more effective.
Pamela uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy and Trauma Sensitive Yoga. She runs yoga classes in her local community. She accredited by the BABACP and insured by BGI.
Outside of work Pamela spends most of her time rock climbing, crafting and reading
