Umbria is unspoilt, similar to its better know neighbour Tuscany but greener, wilder and more natural. A picture perfect view greets you from the plane. A region with a high quality of life: clean air, steeped in nature and inspiring views to enrich the mind and eye.
Umbria is authentic, with its “slow way” of living. It’s mystical, and still based on “small town rules” that bring respect and accountability to people. It’s rich with cozy towns, small castles and little churches that are kindly and respectfully built with ancient local stone, so the hilltop hamlets are a natural extension of the mountains.
Being in this environment encourages peace and spirituality, inspiration and thoughts of authentic ways of living.
The farmhouse is located in the countryside where you can hear the sounds of nature. It was once called “Casale” and was the home of families who lived their daily life simply, working in the farm and producing their own produce in collaboration with their neighbourhood.
Optional activities such as guided walks and treks as well as massages, nutritional therapy sessions and tours of the local area are available at an extra charge when pre-arranged.

Nicole Leida
Nicole's yoga journey started when she was training to do a 100 Km trek in the Sahara Desert almost 10 years ago. She was told that exercising in the heat would have helped her cope. Living in London, she thought her only option was hot yoga so she started attending Bikram Yoga classes and soon became a habitué. Towards the end of that year she attended a Hatha Yoga retreat in Ibiza and loved every minute of it. Once back, she started going to as many classes, workshops and retreats she possibly could and was lucky enough to meet some really great, inspirational teachers. She practised various styles of yoga including Ashtanga, Hatha, Iyengar, Kundalini, Bikram, Sivananda, Scaravelli and Vinyasa Flow before deciding to embark on a teacher training. Nicole trained in London and holds a Level I Teacher Training Diploma, accredited by the British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance Professionals RYS 200, obtained after a 390 hour training over 2 years. She mainly teaches flow classes which are breath-led and alignment based. With experience and time, she realised her logical brain prefers the Iyengar more strict approach to poses, her body loves a strong dynamic class and her heart just likes to inspire mindful movements and awareness of the body and the breath. This is pretty much what she tries to convey in her teaching, always with a smile on her face. Her classes are suitable to all levels. Nicole is also a qualified nutritional therapist and a professional conference organiser.
