Grab one more shot of warmth and sunshine as we transition from fall to winter. Each day on this retreat will include movement, meditation, and journaling. We will explore morning and evening rituals such as tongue scraping, body brushing, tea ceremonies, and ways to create hygge – a Danish term for creating cozy and convivial atmospheres that promote wellbeing.
The retreat will provide you with a fresh perspective on how to enter the winter season of less light and colder temps as an opportunity to heal, restore and spark creativity.
Gentle asana and movement will be accessible for all levels including those with no yoga experience. Each day will focus on a specific area of the body and provide ways to heal, expand the range of movement, and support posture.
JENNIFER BREWER
Jennifer is an E-RYT500 yoga instructor on Hilton Head Island, SC where she teaches both group classes and private clients. Her favorite ways to teach our outside on the beach where you can really ground into the earth and reach into the sky, and chair yoga which makes yoga accessible to those who find getting on the ground challenging. Jennifer began her yoga journey after accepting that depression and anger were taking over. Yoga gave her the awareness and power of choice and she uses her sense of humor to open up this awareness to others.
