I’m delighted to be back at the beautiful Braziers Park in the Springtime. Join me for a nourishing and rejuvenating 4 days of hatha yoga, Restorative yoga, mindful movement, yoga nidra, gong bath/sound healing, delicious, homemade vegetarian food, nature walks, campfires and good company.
Pick and choose which activities you do. There will be plenty of opportunities for deep rest and fresh air in the stunning grounds. This is open to all levels and suitable for beginners. The venue is a Strawberry Gothic style, Grade II listed building set amongst 50 acres of gardens and beautiful countryside. A perfect place to unwind, re-energise and re-connect with nature, self and others.

Braziers Park is a community, a residential college and an architectural treasure hidden deep in the South Oxfordshire countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It was founded in 1950 as an educational trust. Community members share responsibility for running the mansion house (a Grade II listed building), 55 acres of land, organic kitchen garden and livestock, facilitating courses and organising events assisted by visiting volunteers from around the world.

The food at Braziers Park is delicious, homemade, vegetarian and organic where possible (dietary needs catered for).
Louise Hurford
Louise comes from a contemporary dance background. She completed her yoga teaching certificate in India in 2007 and since then has been teaching and training with a variety of teachers, including the inspiring Uma Dinsmore Tuli and Sarah Powers. Louise will be leading most of the sessions throughout the retreat. Her style of teaching is hatha flow suitable for all levels, including beginners- it combines fluid asana (postures), movement, stillness and breath work to bring balance and nourishment to both body and mind. Louise is also a Shiatsu massage practitioner and incorporates her knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine, working with the seasons and how they relate to the energy channels of the body. Louise’s yoga sessions will be more dynamic in the morning and restful and restorative in the evening with some yoga nidra (guided relaxation).
