Litovkina Anna
I was born in Russia, since 1987 I have been living in Hungary. I am a linguist, a folklorist, a psychologist and a coach. Beyond more than one hundred scholarly articles, I am the author or co-author of eighteen books. Learning and sharing my knowledge with others are my great passions. I am currently an Associate Professor at J. Selye University, KomĂĄrno in Slovakia. I believe in constant learning and self-development! My favorite proverbs are âYou are never old to learnâ and âWork hard, and play hardâ! At the age of 55 I got my second university degree in psychology and coaching from the Practical University of Psychology in Moscow. I am the organizer of the meetup Budapest-Success-Strategies. See Besides my permanent job, I deliver workshops in English, Hungarian and Russian languages, both in Hungary and outside Hungary. The main topics are: âThe Psychology of Joy and Happinessâ; âHow to Get Everything Done and Live a Stress-Free Life?â; âHow to Dream Big and Set Goalsâ; âChange Your Habits, Change Your Lifeâ; âProcrastination and Strategies to Beat Itâ; âStrategies for Successâ; âToxic People and Toxic Relationshipsâ, etc. I consider myself optimistic and energetic, what I would like to share with you.
When I was a schoolgirl, I heard from a Russian academician: âTrue happiness is leaving home for work happily, and happily coming back home from work.â This is my typical state⊠Indeed, I count myself extremely lucky, because I have professions that I love and enjoy, my research, teaching, writing, coaching, delivering workshops and recording interviews. I have the most wonderful daughter, Veronika TĂłth with whom we are organizing mindfulness and yoga retreats.
It is simply one of the most wonderful feelings to watch, or to be part of the process, when seemingly out of nothing something special and enduring is created. This act of creation may be writing a book, or delivering a workshop, or organizing a conference, or feeling and cultivating love, friendship, or co-authorship, planning and implementing a trip, dreaming and executing a painting, and even preparing delicious meal⊠Something that once, even in our boldest dreams, we didnât dare to think of, suddenly comes to life. Once a seed of a thought finds suitable soil, and if proper cultivation and positive thinking are provided, it buds and eventually starts flourishing. It remains a great mystery to me how I have ever managed to write a book, or to paint a glass. I have given up trying to answer this question. It is not the result that attracts me but the process of creationâŠ
Veronika TĂłth
My name is Veronika TĂłth, and currently I live in Budapest, Hungary. I started to do yoga and meditation in 2014, which was very life changing. In 2017, while studying in India I had the chance to spend some time in an ashram in the capital of yoga in Rishikesh. For me, the most memorable places to practice yoga are in Rishikesh and Bali. Practicing yoga and meditation opened some new doors, and the reason why I have finished the yoga teacher training at Sivananda Center in Budapest is because I wanted to share my knowledge with you.
Before, I have had a great opportunity to study at various schools abroad in the US, Germany, France etc. I consider myself multilingual. Besides Hungarian, I use English, French and Russian almost every day. I already have professional experience working at various international and national organizations. Currently I am working as a Business Development Manager at InnoEnergy Hub Hungary.
I like travelling, cycling and hiking. One of the most exciting hikes for me was to climb the second highest volcano in Indonesia. It was physically and mentally challenging but magical to reach the 3726 meters peak of Rinjani.
I am passionate to share my experiences in Sivananda hatha yoga and hiking with you.
