Our location

This retreat will be held at the academy on Agonda Beach, Goa, India. Goa is one of the South Indian states situated by the Arabian Sea on the west coast. Goa is known as the tourist paradise of India, as it is endowed with marvelous beaches, splendid churches and temples, plenty of sunshine, wonderful locations, and warm and friendly people.

With its beautiful nature and culture, delicious food, the Arabian Sea with dancing dolphins, marvelous sunset, and the shadow of palm trees around, Goa attracts people all over the world who want to escape from cold winters in Europe and North America. Visitors spend unforgettable dream holidays here and explore Indian culture in a safe and pleasant atmosphere.

Goa is one of the most ideal places for yoga practitioners as well as artists and dancers. Apart from many tourist attractions, yoga, meditation, and spiritual seekers can find peace and silence here. The best time to visit Goa is from November to March.

Instructors

Dr.Keshava, M.Sc, PhD

Dr. Keshava has been teaching yoga philosophy, meditation and pranayama, therapeutic yoga, principle teachings of original tantra, Sanskrit language and poetry, and Vedic mantra chanting in various academic settings and yoga teacher training centers. He taught more than 100 yoga teacher training courses. Keshava lives a monastic life practicing and teaching yoga, meditation, and spirituality. He is committed to bringing a deep change in the personality of a seeker in order to have a meaningful and blissful life with peace, harmony and universal awareness.

Chetan Kumar: M.A (Yoga & Ayurveda), E-RYT-500+

Yogi Chetan Kumar: M.A (Yoga and Ayurveda), E-RYT-200 + E- RYT-500+. Yogi Chetan hails from Rishikesh, North India, and started pursuing yoga from School days and has completed his Master's Degree, MA in Yogic Science and Ayurveda from Himalaya Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Dehradun, India. He also completed 200 hr Yoga TTC and 300 hr Advanced Yoga TTC from Registered Yoga Schools (RYS) in Rishikesh and Dharamsala and acquired E-RYT- 500 Designation from Yoga Alliance, U.S.A Yogi Chetan has been teaching Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa yoga and Ashtanga Yoga for last 6 years in different YTTCs.

Kimber Wigley, E-RYT-200, RYT 500

For over 15 years, Kimber has been interested in the connection between movement of the physical body and the changing states of mind.

She was introduced to yoga through the physical practice of asana, and soon realised the profound effects the movement had on her mind and ability to find internal comfort in externally uncomfortable situations. With peaked interest, she transitioned to living in Asia and pursued Eastern philosophies and practices.

As her practice transformed, more interest into why certain postures over others were available to her body led her to study functional anatomy and physiology with top teachers around the globe. This foundation propelled her in guiding others in asana classes with a focus in safety and accessibility dependant on the unique body limitations.

Since 2014, Kimber has been sharing her knowledge and experience of yoga asana and anatomy in studios and teacher trainings worldwide in simple, fun and accessible ways. In her practice, she holds the intention to bring herself into alignment with our shared true nature, pure joy.
