This 7 day intensive retreat guides aspirants to reveal the deeper layers of the mind and cultivate a harmonious lifestyle. The course explores the concept of Yoga-Nidra in detail at theoretical and practical levels. This is designed to assist students of yoga to understand and experience the deeper layers of their personality and practice.
The course mainly includes breathing practices, tension and relaxation practices of Yoga Nidra. You will be guided through knowledge of Yoga-Nidra practice and then be guided to the advanced practices of Yoga-Nidra.
Apart from the Yoga Nidra sessions, students will have sessions on -
Pranayama (understanding and regulating our breath)
Pratyahara (internalisation of sensory inputs)
Dharana (concentration)
Dhyana (meditation) processes drawn from the Patanjali Yoga Sutras – ancient Yogic doctrine that aims to integrate our body, mind, heart and souls for complete living.
Throughout the retreat enjoy -
daily yoga asanas classes for beginning to intermediate levels
daily shat-kriyas (six channel purification exercises), breath awareness and pranayama practices.
Karma-yoga and daily mantra recitations
introductory study of Indian philosophies including Sankhya, Yoga and Vedanta philosophies
