Overview

Prepare to explore Nepal in the best of ways in this unique 10 day spiritual trek. In this retreat, you will spend your first several days on a visit to Chitwan National Park.

This national park is enlisted in the UNESCO’s Natural Heritage Site and you can expect to see a variety of protected animals including elephant, rhinoceros, tiger, leopard and deer. Enjoy exciting activities like a jungle walk, elephant riding, village visit, canoeing, visit to elephant breeding center, bird-watching and more. A nature guide will lead you through all the activities giving you more insights into the wildlife, flora and fauna in the national park.

In the evening you can enjoy the Tharu cultural show. Tharus are aboriginal people of the area who have their own language, culture and tradition.

On the 4th day you will drive to Lumbini which is commonly known as the birthplace of Buddha, where you will explore Buddhist monasteries of different countries and faith, visit the Mayadevi temple and sacred garden. Visit monasteries, sacred gardens, the Mayadevi temple and the vicinity. You will find some time to meditate in the sacred garden under a Bodhi tree near the sacred pond of Pushkarini.

The 6th day will be welcomed by a scenic drive to Pokhara. You will wake up early the next day and drive to Sarangkot, a beautiful hill in Pokhara famous for sunrise. After sunrise, you will then hike up to World Peace Stupa, a nice hiking destination in Pokhara. It’s a beautiful viewpoint and a Buddhist Pilgrimage as well. Later you will come down to visit Davis falls and cave and a Tibetan Refugee Camp.

The next day you will drive back to Kathmandu. Later in the evening, you can enjoy a farewell Nepali dinner with a cultural show. In the 9th day, after breakfast you will enjoy a Kathmandu sightseeing tour.

Swoyambhunath- the oldest Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu Valley

Monkey Temple- a beautiful abode for lots of monkeys and the perfect vantage point to see Kathmandu valley

Pashupatinath- a holy pilgrimage for Hindus and Hindu Crematorium

Boudhanath- the biggest Buddhist temple in the world

Patan Durbar Square- a medieval royal palace area which is also known as the city of fine art.
