Overview

This 8 Day Sailing & Yoga Retreat combines a relaxing holiday on the sea with daily yoga and meditation sessions.

On offer a full island-hopping experience in Croatia so you can sail, swim, nap and just relax. You don’t need to be a sailor to enjoy the sunshine, clear blue waters as you leisurely sail to a new island location each day.

The itinerary includes some of the best destinations that Croatia has to offer - Split, Hvar, Vis, Korčula, Mljet and Dubrovnik. The itinerary is a 'tasting plate' of Croatia and offers the most diverse islands, port towns and colours of Croatia.

During this retreat, you will have yoga sessions in the morning and afternoon mediation. Classes are an hour long and will be in some of the most breathtaking settings!

There is still time to explore world famous islands, like Hvar where you can wander the streets, explore the old castle and enjoy sunset cocktails

The retreat package includes your daily yoga and meditation, seven days accommodation onboard the beautiful yacht, breakfast and lunch fresh every day, sailing lessons, snorkelling gear. All you have to do is jump aboard and set your worries to the winds!

Donna Freakie

Donna’s passion for yoga is centred around the need to balance Yin & Yang in her life. Discovering the foundations of merging the Yin & Yang whilst living with a Shaman in Mexico and further studying meditation and reiki in Guatemala.She has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and completed her Yoga Teacher Training under the Krishnamacharya lineage in Bali. Donna currently she is teaches Hatha, and Vinyasa flow in Sydney, Australia. Drawing inspiration from international teachers such as Eion Finn, Cameron Shayne, and Janet Stone. Donna aims to inspire her students to experience connection through linking mediation and movement, where their yoga practice gives them a personal feeling of strength and inner calm. In addition to the life of yoga, Donna is an active adventurer and philanthropist. She regularly leads charity adventures trips such as cycling in Cambodia and trekking in Peru. Donna truly believes that yoga has changed her life, and is a major key to help us live a balanced life, in a busy world. "With a focused and balanced mind you can do anything. Even a one handstand headstand one day".

Valerie Greene

Valerie has been in love with yoga for over 10 years. Valerie is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor with additional certifications in pre and postnatal, as well as infant, children, and teens. Valerie’s enthusiasm and passion for teaching can be seen in her restorative class where students can expect to explore their strengths, work on focus, and learn to find balance on and off the mat. She is also a specialised holistic nutritionist and Reiki master.After sustaining a back injury, Valerie not only used yoga to rehabilitate her body, but also bring balance to her mind, body, and soul. She is continually inspired by yoga’s transformative power—both internally and externally, and finds it to be a source of love and strength. Valerie loves the spiritual growth that walks alongside practicing yoga. She helps her students understand the whole mind, body, spirit connection. Whether you are beginning your practice or have many years of experience, Valerie believes yoga is for everyone. She also believes in honouring your body where it is today and celebrating small milestones of strength, stillness, and inner peace. Her classes are relaxed, charming, and encouraging with the intention to breathe, building strength and connect to the stillness of the mind.

Melanie Woods

Melanie discovered yoga when she was just 19yrs old traveling alone in India. After returning home to California, she continued to explore, learn, and deepen further into the yoga practice, which eventually took over into a lifestyle.In 2012, with encouragement and support from her teachers, she completed her 200hr YTT at the Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja, Mexico. She began teaching Vinyasa flow, therapeutic, and restorative yoga classes for all levels in San Francisco.Letting creativity flow through her with foundational knowledge of countless hours of practice, trainings, and study, her classes are accessible for everyone. The students Melanie teach are her biggest inspiration and is forever grateful to hold space and facilitate experiences connecting mind, body, breath and energy. Forever a student herself, Melanie is in the process of finishing her 500hr YTT certification, which is due to be completed by the end of 2016.Alongside Melanie’s yoga studies, she has also achieved a bachelors degree in Kinesiology-Exercise and Movement Sciences with a minor in Holistic Health. Understanding the importance of being well rounded in complimentary therapies, she has worked as a physical therapy aide, and has taken training in massage and reiki, which she offers to interested clients.Leaving San Francisco in 2015, Melanie has fully embraced her wandering nature and is taking her yoga mat where ever she goes. Her adventures have lead her to teach yoga in all kinds of exciting settings including; a beautiful jungle shala in Tulum, Mexico, for a surf camp in Taghazout, Morocco, and at a beautiful bed and breakfast centered on meditation and wellness in San Felice Circeo, Italy.
