She offers classes in different dance styles including American Standard Ballroom; Swing, FoxTrot, Waltz,Rumba, ChaChaCha, Salsa, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, HipHop, Free Movement, Kinetic Kids,Goddess Integration, and Diva Dance Burlesque.Nicole started yoga around 2000 and have since integrated yoga into her daily life on and off the mat. She has a deep love for meditation, chakra alignment, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Hot Yoga. She is the creator of Shakti Flow Yoga and The Perfect Space. Now a life coach and professional organizer helping clients to align with their true passions and helping them to achieve their goals. Maite has started yoga in her early twenties. With her inquisitive mind, she was drawn to study and explore different spiritual traditions. Part Nigerian and Spanish, she was exposed early to a variety of cultures in which nurtured a quest for studying social anthropology, travel the world and the deep desire to understand the humankind and the big existential questions. Maite dedicated 10 years to social and international development working globally from Afghanistan to Panama and Thailand to Venezuela. In 2013, she decided to serve others through yoga teaching. She then moved to Costa Rica and became certified yoga teacher. Maite teaches Hatha Flow Yoga with emphasis in heart opening postures. She inspires her students to delve deeper into love and move out into the world, and ride the wave of life with a fearless heart. Her classes are in Spanish and English.

Driven by her boundless passion for dance and creative expression, Sofiah studied at the Naropa University and Tamalpa Institute, in Dance Therapy, Performing Art and Expressive Healing Arts.She studied traditional Indian temple dance in India, which led her to the study and practice of modern day yoga. Sofiah holds a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 200 certification, having completed her Anusara teacher training. Since 2012 Sofiah has been offering yoga teacher trainings with an emphasis on expressive healing arts fused with more traditional asana.Alongside her husband Brendan, Sofiah co-founded the Envision Festival in Costa Rica, a conscious festival celebrating music, art and sacred movement. Offering retreats, workshops and trainings in the United States, India, Mexico and Costa Rica, her Vinyasa classes feature a dharma-rich, gently demanding slow-flow practice with an emphasis on yoga as a practice ground for life.Heidi first stepped onto a yoga mat in 1998 and has been teaching yoga since 2008. Initially inspired by Kundalini yoga, she soon discovered Baron Baptiste and Power yoga. Heidi’s teachers include Rod Stryker, Shiva Rea and Anand Mehrotra. She has studied extensively with Elysabeth Williamson, creator and founder of Principle-Based Partner Yoga™, and has been teaching Partner Yoga since 2009. Most recently, Heidi Michelle co-founded Nature Yoga Teacher Training Costa Rica with her teaching partner, Heidi Dietrich of Dharma & Grace Yoga.The addition of Stand-Up Paddle Board Yoga to her personal practices and teachings has been an extreme delight! Lindsay is a firm believer in the wisdom of the body, the strength of the heart, and the power of the breath. A lifelong dancer and performance artist, yoga has been a great tool of transformation in her own life that she loves sharing with her students. She approaches her classes with an artful sensibility, so that others can learn to appreciate and love their bodies, minds, and spirits with more connection.In addition to her yoga certification, Lindsay holds a BFA in dance, choreography, and performance as well as certifications in Pilates and barre. She has taught yoga and movement arts across the United States with previous residencies in California, Florida, and Ohio, and most recently spent 6 months teaching in Nicaragua. She is known to always have a hula hoop and a yoga mat with her where ever she travels and loves adding a little circus flair to anything she does.
In 2008, Amber was introduced to yoga by a friend and her passion for this life transforming practice has only grown fonder since. Following the guide of her heart’s compass, she moved to Colorado and received her 200hr certification with Yoga Alliance, through Shambhava Yoga in August 2012.Experiencing how practicing yoga daily impacts her life, she is honored to be able to share and guide others along on their own personal journey. Amber believes in creating space for each student to have their own unique experience on the mat, offering alignment cues and variations to choose what best suits you that day, in that moment.. She is driven to inspire and motivate others to obtain what was once unattainable through mind, body, and spirit connection.Shortly after moving to Dominical, Costa Rica her passion to connect with others through healing practices led her to study bodywork. Amber is certified in Thai Massage, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, Swedish and Sports Massage. Today, she weaves her knowledge of the body and the principles of yoga into her sessions with clients for the ultimate healing experience.
Anne is a nomadic yogi from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completion of her first 200-hour teacher training in 2013 changed the trajectory of her life. No longer wanting to fit into the 9-5 corporate lifestyle, she bought a one-way ticket to India in January of 2014 and co-founded www.TheYogaNomads.com. She has been traveling and teaching yoga ever since. With a desire to cultivate a deep sense of mindfulness in each class, Anne encourages her students to bring conscious awareness to their breath to as they move their bodies. She holds space for self-inquiry and examination of the practice with curiosity and patience. Her classes offer alignment-focused cues sprinkled in with philosophy and breath work. When she’s not teaching or practicing, you can find Anne moving her body by being active outdoors, cooking, reading, watching live music or traveling to a new destination.
