The first part of this 12-day African Safari Yoga Retreat takes place in a small beautiful beach front hotel in Zanzibar. Short steps at the front lead to the beach. The 2 yoga spaces face west overlooking the ocean for perfect sightings of the setting sun while you practice.
The next destination will take a small flight from beach to bush, to Kilimanjaro, where you will make your way for 1 night's stay in a beautiful lodge nestled in the foothills, just a few minutes away from Machame Gate entrance to Kilimanjaro National Park.
You will then embark on your 4-day Safari, before returning to spend one more night at the same lodge upon your way home.
The cost of this retreat includes your 6 nights in Zanzibar, 2 yoga classes a day and daily meditation.

Amanda Dee is an experienced certified yoga teacher with over 15,000 hours of training behind her. She has taught in some of the most prestigious centers of New York where yoga has primarily formed her career. She has conducted countless workshops, attended different training programs for teachers and opened her own yoga center in Manhattan in 2003. At present, leads the yoga center in Southern Spain, Amanda studied advanced anatomy with renowned teachers such as Leslie Kaminoff, Tom Myers or Zach Dacuk. She has also studied and worked with Schuyler Grant the creator of Kula Yoga. Amanda's experience also includes knowledge of dance and dance and Thai Body Work and reflected in its balance of style and yoga classes, including strongly for attention to anatomy, choreography and body exercise.Amanda teaches different types of Yoga such Vinyasa Flow, YinYasa - a fusion of Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, pre / postnatal yoga, yoga restorative, yoga for the elderly, Thai body work, body gym, and bellydancing.
